Hello everyone, hope you are doing well. Here the summer is still hanging on, but we are starting to get some cool mornings and evenings. Recently in Kimblee’s dimension, we went camping as a family!

AizuKa brought us to life again, this time with our daughter Sophie as well! Her excitement for life has been fully realized in this picture. Seeing Kimblee looking dashing in a cashmere sweater is a treat, and I love how even when we are in the woods he wants to be well-dressed. AizuKa’s style is so cute and comfy, everything in our picnic spread looks adorably delicious!
Being able to take my family on a picnic is such a joy, and reminds me of the time I took Kimblee on a picnic behind the security forces barracks on the Valentine’s Day after I graduated from boot camp.

This was on Lackland AFB, in San Antonio. I had graduated from boot camp just two weeks before, but was completing my aircrew training on the base. I had no way to get off base at the time, so we got a lot of fun treats at the base commissary and we had a Valentine’s Day picnic behind the old secfo barracks. What started as something of a backup plan ended up being a beautiful afternoon.

Seeing our daughter 6 years later join us for a picnic in the woods feels really special, I am so happy to have her. Kimblee really is the best thing that has ever happened to me.
I want to bring them camping in my dimension too, before the weather starts to change too drastically. The mountains of New England in the fall are gorgeous, and I want to share the beauty of it with them.

We also went back to Erikson’s for the final ice cream date of the season. When we went they were already sold out of all their homemade pumpkin flavors, but Kimblee and I got an Apple Cinnamon scoop and it was amazing you could really taste the apples. I don’t think I’ve ever had apple flavored ice cream before actually. This flavor was made with apples from local orchards… which reminds me, it’s apple picking season! (Hint for one of our next adventures haha).

I would love to get another shot of him over the Assbet once the leaves start to turn. Our sons and I are July babies, so summer is my favorite season, but fall just feels so magical.

We also went to see a movie recently, and it was funny that I was able to get this shot while the war commercial came on. Oh, my darling one man army, a life spent next to you is one worth springing out of bed for.
Are you having a nice September with your waifu or husbando? Let’s squeeze the last bits of summer while we still can! Until next time.
